WALKING MOUNTAINS SCIENCE SCHOOL
An environmental education school that annually serves residents and visitors. The Science School’s mission is “…to awaken a sense of wonder and inspire environmental stewardship through natural science education” by offering school programs, summer youth science camps, adult seminars and year-round interpretive programs.
EAGLE VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY
ERF helped with seed money for this innovative educational effort. Eagle Valley Library District is a system of libraries that responds to community needs by providing excellent opportunities and resources to read, learn and grow for residents and visitors of the Eagle Valley.
THE RED RIBBON PROJECT
The mission of this local outreach group is to build healthier lives through a comprehensive approach to HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, education and support for everyone in Eagle County. As a part of its efforts, the Red Ribbon Project gives presentations in schools and area clubs . Since its inception in 1996, the project has been providing education and awareness to 6th-12th graders in public and privates schools throughout the County.
EAGLE RIVER YOUTH OUTREACH COALITION
Mountain Youth rallies around the community, providing support, conversation, education and collaboration to help all young people in the Eagle River Valley thrive. We do this through a variety of programs that engage youth while helping adults start tough conversations.
WILD WEST DAYS
A legacy fundraising program, is a local hoe-down filled with fun, games and entertainment for the whole family. This event raises money for nine public elementary schools in Eagle County to enhance the education of our children through each school’s PTA/PTO.
